Alumni: Alexandra Roach

Alexandra joined the stage school age 11 before quickly landing a regular role in long-running television soap Pobol Y Cwm in her early teens, winning Best Juvenile Actor in a Soap at the Children in Entertainment Awards.[1] 

After leaving the show in 2005, she spent many years at the Mark Jermin Stage School before going on to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating with a B.A. in acting in 2010

Alex’s credits include Sasha in Being Human, Beth Partridge in Candy Cabs, and The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher, where she played notorious child murderer Constance Kent. She starred as the young Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady, alongside Meryl Streep.

More recently she has been cast as Molly in the upcoming adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's 2003 novel Private Peaceful, she stars in feature film Anna Karenina alongside Keira Knightley, Julia Davis dark comedy Hunderby and channel 4 drama Utopia. She has just finished filming Paul Potts feature film One Change alongside James Corden which is due for release later this year.

Alexandra was included on the Screen International Stars of Tomorrow list 2011.
